MEDICAL OFFICES
Dr. Frank Johnson, DDS
This was a new dental office building for a doctor group in Topeka, Kansas.
The HVAC system includes residential grade high efficiency furnaces with direct expansion air cooled condensing units. The exam areas were zoned by exposure with dedicated units.
The electrical system is based on 120/208 volts serving HVAC equipment, lighting, and power needs. The electrical system allows for dedicated clean power for computer loads in the office and exam room spaces. The lighting system design is indirect fluorescent fixtures equipped with energy efficient T8 lamps and solid state ballasts. The indirect fixtures aid in patient comfort by reducing lamp glare.
