Bob & Dee’s Restaurant

Bob & Dee's Restaurant is a family restaurant located on Moonlight Road in Gardner, Kansas.  The building has a well-lit main entrance making it very inviting. Once inside, the restaurant is split into several different spaces to make the customers dining experience more enjoyable. There is a large sun room that is surrounded by windows on three sides making the room a very bright and pleasant space. The other side of the restaurant consists of an open dining room with cove lighting on two sides and a fireplace at one end.  Can lights and wall washers complete the lighting in this space.

Behind the ning area are two banquet rooms for larger parties. These two rooms can be combined into one larger room if additional space is required.  Between the two dining areas of the building is a magnificent wood bar. The bar is well lit with small can lights and the surrounding tables in the bar area are dimly lit to add focus on the bar.  Typical in restaurants, the HVAC system is designed to control the space conditions in many different types of spaces. The equipment is designed to keep the customers in the dining areas comfortable as well as the employees working in the kitchen. All of this equipment is located on a small part of the roof in the center of the building that is flat and lower than the rest of the structure. This allows all the mechanical equipment to be completely concealed from view. All of these features help Bob and Dee serve delicious food all day long from breakfast till dinner.
